Stop Press: Stoke Poets return home for reading

Don’t miss this special reading by Stoke-born poets:

Thursday 18th April, 7.30pm – FREE entry
The Leopard, Burslem

Michael HulseA good friend of the Stoke Stanza, Michael Hulse, is reading with Pauline Stainer and Jeffrey Wainwright.

It’s part of a poetry reading series, supported by The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, based around its Middleport Pottery project.

The aim is to promote poetry in the area, with an emphasis on local writers. An anthology, a poetry competition, schools work, and a reading series are all planned for next year.
